Welcome to Les Gravelets campsite in Normandy, in the Manche department. Located on the west coast of the Cotentin peninsula, near Hauteville-sur-Mer, the campsite is just two kilometers from the beaches and dunes of Annoville. Set in a former stone quarry, the site gives you a feeling of being elsewhere from the moment you arrive: an extraordinary setting in the midst of unspoilt nature, where calm is the natural order of the day. You’ll stay away from busy roads, yet close to the coast and neighboring villages. The friendly, family atmosphere is supported by a campsite on a human scale, suited to simple stays with no time constraints.

Camping Les Gravelets occupies a former stone quarry in Montmartin-sur-Mer, between Granville and Coutances. It was here that the limestone used to build the Regnéville lime kilns and the Alexandre-III bridge in Paris was extracted. The walls of the quarry form natural terraces on which the lodgings are set, exposed to the sun for most of the day. You can camp here sheltered from the wind, in an unexpected relief that exists nowhere else on the west coast of the English Channel. The beach is 2 km away, Hauteville-sur-Mer five minutes. We’re in the middle of the quarry, but the sea is never far away.
